Frequently Asked Questions

HISTORY

Why is called Fiesta of 5 Flags?
Often referred to as “The City of Five Flags”, Pensacola is known for having changed ownership several times. The Spanish, French, British, Confederate, and American flags have all flown over our beautiful city.

REGISTRATION

How do I register for the race?
Visit our website or Runsignup.com.

Can I register at packet pickup?
Yes, only if spots are still available and only on Friday, May 5. There will be no registration on race
morning. We encourage you to sign up as early as possible in order to secure a shirt and for the best
race experience.

Can I sign up race morning?
Regretfully, no.

Will I get a confirmation?
Yes, you will receive an email automatically from RunSignup with your registration confirmation.

Are the 5k and 10k events the same price?
No. Please see the price list on our website. PRA members receive a $5 discount on race entry fees.  If you would like to become a member, you can register online.

Can I defer my registration to next year or get a refund?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer deferrals or refunds. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit
organization. Race entry fees are used to purchase shirts, medals and awards well in advance of the race date. We appreciate your understanding and there are no exceptions.

Where do I pick up my race packet and bib number?
Packet pickup is as follows:

Friday, May 5 between 3pm-6pm at Running Wild, 3012 E Cervantes St

Saturday, May 6 from 6am-6:30am SHARP at Seville Quarter, 130 E Government St

Will there be a packet pickup on race day?
Yes, but we prefer you collect your packet earlier to avoid delays. Packet pickup will close at 6:30am on the dot. There will be no late packet pickup.

How do I ensure that I get a shirt?
You will choose your shirt size when you register. If your preferred size is not available, it means we have run out of shirts in that size and you need to select a different size.

Can someone else pick up my bib?
Yes. Please make sure they have a copy of your ID.

If I can’t attend the race, can I give my bib to a friend?
Please avoid using someone else’s bib. Entries are non-transferable and we do not have the manpower to switch names. We do our best to keep registration prices affordable and the proceeds go directly back to our running community.
