Pensacola Runner’s Association proudly presents the 2023 Argonaut 5k. Enjoy a fun and challenging 5k on the campus of UWF! Participants will receive a high-quality singlet (while supplies last). This is a fundraiser for the UWF Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams and 100% of the proceeds will be going directly to support the team this upcoming season. This race will start on the roads near Lot SP2 and will feature an Olympic style finish on the track of UWF. Race start time will be at 7:30am and roads will be partially closed at 7:15am. Get there early and get your parking spot!!
Awards:
5k Run Overall will win shoes from Running Wild (Male and Female)
5k Run Masters will win $20 Gift Cards to Running Wild (Male and Female)
5k Run Grandmasters $20 Gift Cards to Running Wild (Male and Female)
5k Walker Overall $20 Gift Cards to Running Wild (Male and Female)
Top 3 5k Runners Male and Female in each age group will receive medals. (1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, 70-up)
Top 3 5k Walkers (Male and Female) in each of the age groups will receive medals. (1-40, 41 and up)

$35.00 Non-PRA, Non-Military, Non-UWF Student or Faculty
Online registration begins on June 10, 2022 and closes on August 19, 2022 at 6pm. Last chance to register once online registration closes will be at Running Wild during packet pickup from 3pm-6pm on Friday August 19th. There will be no race day registration!!!
Packet pickup:
Friday August 19th from 3pm-6pm at Pensacola’s local running store, Running Wild.
Late packet pickup will be from 6:30am-7:00am race morning at the entrance of the track.
Participant shirts:
All participants who register by July 31 will be guaranteed a singlet. These singlets are high quality and are perfect to wear to show off your UWF spirit on your daily runs.
Parking:
Parking will be in lots SP1 and SP2. Parking Lot SP2 is closer to the start/finish and adjacent to the Soccer/Track complex. SP2 will fill up quickly and will be harder to access after 7:15am when the roads will partially close to allow runners to gather on the start line. After 7:15am, you should try and park in lot SP1 (baseball/softball parking lot).
Post-Race:
After the race enjoy free food/refreshments from our sponsors.
Award ceremony will be at the track approximately around 9:15am-9:30am.
